1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the INSAIG platform at insaig.ai(the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

INSAIG — Instituto de Inteligência Artificial e Segurança (“INSAIG”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a brand owned and operated by EventPulse Technologies. INSAIG reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age.
  • Be capable of forming a legally binding contract under applicable law.
  • Not be barred from receiving services under the laws of your jurisdiction.

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must register for an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your account information up to date.

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@insaig.ai if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 One Account per User

Each individual may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages or circumvent restrictions is prohibited.

4. Certification Exams

4.1 Exam Access

Upon purchasing or gaining authorized access to a certification exam, you are granted a single, non-transferable attempt unless otherwise specified. Additional attempts may be purchased separately.

4.2 Exam Integrity

You agree to:

  • Take exams only under your own identity.
  • Not share, reproduce, or distribute exam questions, answers, or any exam content.
  • Not use unauthorized aids, software, or assistance during exam sessions.
  • Not engage in any form of cheating, impersonation, or fraud.

INSAIG employs proctoring measures during exams, including fullscreen monitoring, tab-switch detection, copy-paste blocking, session heartbeats, and identity verification via webcam photo. By starting an exam, you consent to these measures.

4.3 Exam Suspension and Invalidation

INSAIG reserves the right to suspend an exam session or invalidate exam results, without refund, if we reasonably determine that a violation of exam integrity has occurred. This includes, but is not limited to, three or more tab-switch events during an active session (which triggers automatic submission), evidence of unauthorized assistance, or identity verification failure.

4.4 Results and Passing Score

Exam results are final once submitted. The minimum passing score for each certification is stated on the respective exam page. INSAIG does not guarantee that any candidate will pass an exam.

5. Certificates and Digital Badges

5.1 Certificate Issuance

Upon successfully passing a certification exam, INSAIG will issue you a digital certificate in PDF format bearing a unique certificate ID (in the format INSAIG-YYYY-XXXXX) and a QR code for public verification.

5.2 Certificate Validity

Certificates are issued in your name as provided at registration. They are non-transferable. INSAIG maintains a public verification page at insaig.ai/verify where third parties may confirm the authenticity of any issued certificate.

5.3 LinkedIn and Digital Badges

Where available, you may receive a digital badge compatible with LinkedIn and similar professional networks. By requesting badge issuance, you authorize INSAIG to transmit the necessary data (name, certification title, and issue date) to the relevant credentialing platform.

5.4 Revocation

INSAIG reserves the right to revoke any certificate if it is determined, at any time, that the certification was obtained through dishonest means, impersonation, or violation of these Terms. Revoked certificates will be marked as invalid on the verification page.

6. Payments and Refunds

6.1 Pricing

All prices are displayed on the Platform and are stated in the applicable currency. Prices are subject to change. Changes will not affect purchases already completed.

6.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge to your designated payment method. INSAIG does not store full payment card numbers.

6.3 Refund Policy

Unused exam attempts: Refund requests for unused exam attempts must be submitted within 14 days of purchase, provided the exam session has not been started. Refunds will not be issued after an exam has been launched.

Failed exams: Exam fees are non-refundable once the exam session has begun, regardless of the outcome.

Technical failures: If a verified technical failure caused by INSAIG prevents you from completing an exam, we will provide a replacement attempt at no additional charge. Refund or replacement requests based on technical issues must be submitted within 7 days of the incident, with supporting evidence.

6.4 Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or levies imposed by your jurisdiction in connection with your purchases.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 INSAIG Content

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to exam questions, course materials, certificates, logos, graphics, text, and software — is the exclusive property of INSAIG or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7.2 Limited License

INSAIG grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform solely for your personal, non-commercial certification purposes. This license does not include the right to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute any exam content or Platform materials.
  • Modify, translate, or create derivative works based on Platform content.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Platform.

7.3 User Content

By submitting any content to the Platform (e.g., profile information, feedback), you grant INSAIG a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use such content in connection with operating and improving the Platform.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform’s infrastructure, servers, or networks.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or another user’s account.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
  • Circumvent any proctoring, security, or access control measures.
  • Share your account credentials with any third party.
  • Engage in any conduct that harms INSAIG’s reputation or the integrity of its certifications.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 “As Is” Basis

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.2 No Employment or Professional Guarantee

INSAIG certifications are educational credentials. Obtaining a certification does not guarantee employment, salary increases, or professional recognition by any employer, regulatory body, or third party.

9.3 Availability

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, INSAIG, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or reputation.
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your account or data.

In any case, INSAIG’s total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to INSAIG in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, INSAIG’s liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless INSAIG and its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit to the Platform.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.

If you are a consumer located in the EEA, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Termination

INSAIG may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any conduct we determine to be harmful to other users, the Platform, or third parties.

Upon termination, your license to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@insaig.ai. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any amounts paid.

14. Miscellaneous

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and INSAIG with respect to the Platform and supersede all prior agreements.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. INSAIG may assign its rights and obligations freely.
